1983 yılında Gaziantep’te doğdu. 2013 yılında Anadolu Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Resim Öğretmenliği Bölümü’nde lisans eğitimini ve Anadolu Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Grafik Bölümü’nde yandal eğitimini tamamladı. 2011 yılında University of Ljubljana’da (Slovenya) Art Pedagogy bölümünde öğrenim gördü.
2014 yılında Öğretim Üyesi Yerleştirme Programı ile Gaziantep Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Grafik Bölümü’nde araştırma görevlisi olarak çalışmaya hak kazandı, aynı yıl Hacettepe Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Grafik Bölümü’ne lisansüstü eğitimi için görevlendirildi.
2016 yılında “Tiyatro Afişlerinin Grafik Tasarımda Görsel Algı Açısından İncelenmesi ve Hareketli Afiş Uygulamaları” isimli tez ile yüksek lisans programını tamamladı. 2016 ve 2019 yıllarında Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny d’Alcoi (İspanya) Grafik Bölümü’nde araştırmacı ve eğitmen olarak görev yaptı.
2021 yılında “Zaman ve Algı Bağlamında Yeniden Anlamlanan İmge; Hareketli Grafikler ve Deneysel Bir Çalışma” isimli tezi ile sanatta yeterlik eğitimini tamamlayıp Gaziantep Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Grafik Bölümü’ne dönüş yaptı. 2023 yılında tasarım alanında doçentlik ünvanını aldı. Hareketli imge tasarımı ve algısı üzerine yoğunlaşan akademisyen tasarımcı, teorik ve pratik anlamda üretimlerine devam etmektedir.
Born in Gaziantep in 1983, he completed his undergraduate studies in 2013 at Anadolu University, Faculty of Education, Department of Art Education, and simultaneously pursued a minor degree in Graphic Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts. In 2011, he studied in the Department of Art Pedagogy at the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia).
In 2014, he was appointed as a research assistant in the Department of Graphic Design at Gaziantep University, Faculty of Fine Arts, through the Academic Staff Training Program. In the same year, he was assigned to Hacettepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Graphic Design for his postgraduate studies.
In 2016, he completed his master’s degree with a thesis titled “An Examination of Theatre Posters in Terms of Visual Perception in Graphic Design and Animated Poster Applications.” In 2016 and 2019, he served as a researcher and instructor in the Department of Graphic Design at Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny d’Alcoi (Spain).
In 2021, he completed his proficiency in art degree with a dissertation entitled “The Recontextualized Image in the Context of Time and Perception: Motion Graphics and an Experimental Study,” and returned to Gaziantep University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Graphic Design. In 2023, he was awarded the title of Associate Professor in the field of design. Focusing on the design and perception of the moving image, he continues his academic and practical work in the discipline.
